Directed by K Murali Mohan Rao Anari is the story of the relationship that blossoms between a na�ve and innocent village youngster (Venkatesh) and a rich girl (Karishma Kapoor). Raju is a widow�s (Rakhee) son and a happy-go-lucky guy he is physically very strong but mentally he has the capacity of a 10 year old. Karishma Kapoor is the sister of three arrogant brothers. As per a fortune-teller�s advice she is considered lucky by the family and not permitted to go out of the house. Raju is appointed as her security guard. Matters go haywire when she falls in love with him. The enraged brothers retort by humiliating his mother. How Raju gets matters sorted out forms the rest of the story.
