Thakur Jaswant Singh rules over the region with a iron hand. He has no pity or empathy for the poor all he is interested in is their money women and alcohol. Nobody has the courage to intervene him but for Jeeva who is forced to do so for saving his mother from Jaswant`s ire. Jeeva is falsely implicated by the village elders for a death he has not caused and is beaten and thrown out of the village.
