Ghar ek Mandir is the story of relationships and the value that relationships have in our lives. The plot revolves around the family of Prem a factory worker played by the actor Shashi Kapoor (with Moushmi Chaterjee as his wife) and how Seth Dharamdas exploits the sincerity and honesty of this man ultimately leading to his untimely death. The members of the family change after the death of their elder brother and with the Seth�s daughter entering the scene after marrying Prem�s brother the whole scenario changes against Prem�s poor widow. Will the strength of relationships withstand the test of time?
