Gangaram Verma a local municipality worker is known for his honesty. One of the contractor`s Prem Kumar decides to teach Gangaram a lesson. He gets Gangaram`s only son Vijay married to his only daughter Sapna. The three then scheme to get Gangaram to trust them and get him to sign his property to them leaving Gangaram and his wife Laxmi homeless. Vijay and Sapna bring up their son Ravi with the lie that his grandparents are dead. But tables turn when ravi grows up and on finding out the truth decides to treat his parents in the same way they had treated his grandparents.
