Ruy (Alberto Joel) and Titi (Roberto Alvarez) are two childhood friends. They youngsters earn their living by singing in the Cuban nightclubs. In order to get themselves noticed they engage themselves in preparing for their first concert. Their humour is the only life-line in front of all the obstacles they have to face. Ruy is married to Caridad (Yailene Sierra) and has two children. Ruy and Titi meet Marta (Marta Calvo) and Lorenzo (Roger Pera) who are two musical producers who are in search of Cuban musicians to take them to Spain. Ruy tries to seduce Marta to ascertain that she chooses them. To do this he abandons his family obligations and so his wife decides to get a divorce and goes to the US together with the children. Ruy realises that his life is on the downfall and his only salvation is performing solo without Titi...
