Desh (Anil Kapoor) and Laila (Poonam Dhillon) fall in love but the problem is that they belong to warring clans. A long history of violence exists between the two. Desh`s father had actually sent him abroad to study hoping to protect him from the enmity because the rival clan had vowed to finish him off when he came of age. Now Desh`s life is in danger as his choice of a bride re-opens old wounds.
