Wandering around the ruins of Fatehpur-Sikri a group of tourists encountered a strange old man of regal bearing but in rags. He kept ranting �Would you like to hear the story of the �Red Stone��. Intrigued they agree. This is the story of Kumar Gian Shankar a cultured well educated man who was likely to remain a lifelong bachelor in the tradition of many of his ancestors. But fate had other ideas. He brings home a young woman he rescues from some bandits and makes her his mistress. Later when he captivated by the voice of another woman and marries her against her wishes the stage is set for jealousy and love take center stage driving them to shed blood. But Gian Shankar�s torment does not end with the killing. What follows?
