Neel (Ajay Devgan) a loving father with the mental age of a 7-year-old has been caring for his daughter Gungun (Baby Rucha Vaidya) since her mother vanished from their lives. But when the girl`s grandfather learns of her existence and shows up demanding custody he threatens to tear father and daughter apart. If Neel and Gungun want to stay together they must put their trust in a high-powered lawyer (Sushmita Sen) with a bitter heart.
