Deviprasad bequeaths a large estate and wealth to his nephew Ajay Shankar Sharma on the condition that he will work towards the improvement of their home-town Sundergarh. Ajay manages the Bombay-based business and frequently sends large sums of money to Deviprasad`s son Sarjuprasad for the development of roads and a new school building. Then one day he gets to know that the money that he is sending for a noble cause is being misappropriated by Deviprasad and then he decides to take things in his own hands.
