Arjun Singh (Amitabh Bachchan) & Daddu (Om Prakash) are a made for each other kind of grandson and grandpa living in a village. Once Arjun goes to the city to try his luck and faces problems of real world. He joins Malik (Shashi Kapoor)`s hotel and start serving there honestly. He clears the misunderstanding between his owner and his mother (Waheeda Rehman) and makes them to live in peace and happiness together.
