Nilofer (Salma Agha) is a modern university-educated Muslim girl. Since childhood she has been in love with Wasim (Deepak Prashar) who studies abroad. Haider (Raj Babbar) a poet and a classmate of Nilofer`s is also secretly loves her. Nilofer and Wasim get married but the workaholic Wasim neglects his wife. When Nilofer finds herself abandoned Haider comes to her rescue. Soon Wasim regrets his behavior and tries to get Nilofer back.
