At the beginning of the film Ranbeer a leading industrialist in India is lonely because he has lost everyone who is dear to him. Out his own inattention he mistakenly kills a husband and wife in an accident whereupon the judge appointed to decide his position according to law sentences him to look after their four children and to do so without ill-treating them or distancing them from himself. Because the children resent Ranbeer for his role in their parents` death they desire revenge whereas he is unprepared to co-operate with them so that all of the people concerned are miserable. One day the children pray to God for help whereupon viewers see a scene of God `conducting` a morning sky and later discussing the activities of humans with a small number of fairylike white-clad female angels.
